CanAlaska Announces Closing of Private Placement Financing

Vancouver, Canada, December 29, 2020 CanAlaska Uranium Ltd. (TSX-V: CVV;Frankfurt: DH7N) (“CanAlaska” or the “Company”) announces  that it has now completed the closing of its non-brokered private placement (the “Offering”) previously announced on October 9, 2020, as increased on October 14, 2020.  At closing, the Company issued 1,633,713 flow-through units for gross proceeds of $620,810.94 and 4,921,714 non flow-through units for gross proceeds of $1,378,079.92, for total gross proceeds of $1,998,890.86.

In connection with the closing, the Company paid a total of $111,228.65 and issued a total of 347,235 warrants as finder’s fees.  Each finder’s warrant is exercisable for one common share at a price of $0.55 for two years.

All securities issued under this private placement are subject to a hold period expiring April 24, 2021, in accordance with applicable securities laws and the policies of the TSX Venture Exchange.
